Ramil Tumampos, born on August 3, 1975, in Tagum City, Davao del Norte, is a distinguished Filipino visual artist currently residing in Magalang, Pampanga.

His journey as an artist began at the age of six, inspired by his father's work in billboard advertising for major movie production companies. By the age of fifteen, Tumampos was already creating billboards for various foreign and local actors and actresses, showcasing his early talent and dedication. Renowned for his avant-garde approach, he is often referred to as the Master Cubist—his artistic style blends impressionism, transparency, and cubism, focusing on textured elements. Horses, flowers, human figures, and everyday scenes form the core of his subject matter, bringing life to ordinary activities through his unique perspective and attracting high-profile customers drawn to his work.

Tumampos' career evolved significantly in 1997 when he transitioned from billboard painting to canvas work, having spent two decades in commercial painting before embarking on original creations in 2017. He has participated in numerous exhibitions across the Philippines, including solo shows such as the Solo Exhibit at SM Telabastagan and the Two-Man Show Artablado at Robinsons Galleria, Ortigas, in 2021. His work has been featured in prestigious art books and magazines, solidifying his place in the Filipino contemporary art scene. Notably, Tumampos was a finalist in the Galat Kalalangan Competition and Art Exhibit in 2020, further cementing his reputation. His paintings are prominently displayed in several galleries, including Daloy Likha Gallery, Artistree Gallery, Life 'n' Art Gallery, and NAMI Art Gallery.

Tumampos is particularly celebrated for his Frontliners series, Mamang Bingwitero series, and Mamang Lambatero series, which showcase his ability to capture the essence of Filipino life and culture through his distinctive artistic lens.
